Delete your Crane Audiobook Player data

Crane Audiobook Player is published by Cranesoft LLC. Crane has no accounts. Here is how to delete each kind of data.

Delete your diagnostic reports

  1. In Crane, open Settings, then About, and copy your Installation ID.
  2. Email privacy@cranesoft.com and paste the Installation ID.
  3. We delete every report and log for that ID, and any email you sent us.

Even without a request, reports and logs are deleted automatically after 90 days, and backup copies 14 days after they are made.

Data on your phone

Your library, positions, bookmarks, notes, listening history, statistics and settings stay on your phone. We have no copy.

To delete them, uninstall Crane. That deletes all of it, including the app’s Installation ID.

Diagnostic reports you sent us

Reports and logs you send (with Send Feedback, or Android automatic crash reports) are kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically. Backup copies are deleted 14 days after they are made. To have them deleted sooner, follow the steps at the top of this page.

What we keep: an anonymous daily count (the day, the platform, the system version, the phone model, the app version and the kind of report). It has no ID and is not about you.

Hardcover

If you connected Hardcover, disconnect it in Crane’s Settings, on the Connect tab. That deletes the token from your phone. Progress already on your Hardcover profile is managed at Hardcover.

Crane Pro purchases

Google Play or the App Store handles the payment. We never receive your payment details.
